Tosh Farms is a rapidly growing, family-owned crop and swine production business with over 450 employees and growing to 500 employees within the next year.  We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to work as a Washbay Supervisor in Henry, TN.  This position is a management position overseeing the Washbay, ensuring the cleanliness of our tractor-trailers and farm equipment.

While we are family-owned, we are not a small outfit - we are 3 companies operating under the Tosh Farms umbrella. We are the #1 pork producer in the state of Tennessee and top #25 in the United States. 

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and manage two Washbay locations, clean-up, and general maintenance
  • Manage of team of ~15 employees (day/night shift) whose responsibility is to clean & sanitize interior/exterior of truck cabs, semi-trailers, and farm equipment
  • Ensure and maintain cleanliness of all equipment to prevent diseases amongst herd
  • Maintain a safe environment for all employees by ensuring compliance with safety procedures
  • Ensure proper plugs and ventilation in livestock trailers
  • Evaluate employee's performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed to maintain standards and improve performance
  • Train new and existing employees on safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
  • Manage inventory
  • Process and submit payroll

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, in lieu of education, equivalent experience and training required
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred with proven leadership skills and ability to delegate work
  • Strong problem-solving skills with independent decision-making ability to identify and promptly resolve concerns or complaints
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with computer/software skills including MS Office and other programs
  • Self-motivated
  • Organized and detail-oriented allowing you to handle high volumes of work with multiple priorities
  • Ability to connect and communicate with all people throughout all levels of organization
  • Willing to work extended hours when needed
  • Willing to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand more than 8 hours walking, stopping, reaching, kneeling, crouching/squatting
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift 30 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Clean driving record
